I have been engaged in civil engineering design since 1978. Through experience, sound engineering guidance, and continuing education courses, I have developed a firm foundation of knowledge in the field of storm water hydraulics, floodplain analysis, and floodway encroachment. I am proficient in the development of transportation construction plans having worked for various ALDOT and FAA projects. These projects include the engineering design and construction plans required for runway extensions, safety area improvements, apron and taxiway construction, perimeter fencing, PAPI installations, drainage structure designs best management plans for erosion/sediment control and RPR and construction administration. I have experience in storm water hydraulics and hydrological analysis and computer modeling, ALDOT transportation roadway design, airport design, construction management, civil site design, the preparation of bid documents, and preparation of Environmental documents including FONSI, CE, and Phase I Environmental Assessments, and the design and preparation of BMPs for soil erosion and sedimentation plans. My experience as Civil Engineer are:
? Responsible for developing, designing, and preparing working plans and specifications for civil site and DOT transportation projects, erosion control systems, water control structures, and stream restoration projects.
? Preparation of the EA documents required me to consult and provide technical resource on FHWA policy, procedures, and guidance on NEPA, Section 4(f), Section 106, archeology, project level AQ conformity determinations, noise impacts, the coordination of ROW issues and all other Federal laws, regulations, Executive Orders, and directives related to social, economic, and environmental considerations applicable to the Federal-aid highway program and to State and Local funding projects.
